Appearance

These dragons are normally small and have two legs. They sometimes have 'wings' formed from their ribs, much like reptiles of the Draco genus. These wings are not true limbs. It should be noted that old sources view these as the same as the versions with proper wings... both of these can be called wyverns. This does not make sense from an evolutionary point of view. Evolving ribs to be wings is not the same as evolving a set of legs into a pair of wings.

Lifestyle/Habitat
They are normally found in Europe.

Flight
Rib wings are generally quite fragile. They are not suitable for powered flight, but are good for gliding. Pictures of the wings vary between old sources. Some have very small wings and some larger ones. Among the existing Draco reptiles, different species vary in how good they are at gliding. It is likely that the same is true of the dragons. Some may be clumsy gliders, barely able to cover any distance. Others might be very good at it, to the point of being mistaken for true fliers.
