Welcome to the Newland Eyrie. Newland is the name of the usenet newsgroup alt.mythology.mythic-animals.gryphons, which was created on the 21st of June 1998, as a gathering place for gryphons and gryphon lovers. The group had various setbacks in its early time, including some deaths of members. It never really took off and is currently empty. This site is here as a historical reference... though perhaps someday a group will try and re-start the group.
