Chinese Fireballs are first mentioned in 'Harry Potter and
the Goblet of Fire', where one is faced by Viktor Krum in the Triwizard Tournament.
They are red with a fringe of gold spikes around their face.
Common Welsh Green
A wild variety of dragon found in Britain. First mentioned in 'Harry Potter and
the Philosopher's Stone'. They have smooth green scales and can breath fire.
A Common Welsh Green was faced by Fleur Delacour in the Triwizard Tournament. They
are smaller than the other dragon species used
in the tournament, but still very large compared to a human.

A wild variety of dragon found in Britain. First mentioned in 'Harry Potter
and the Philosopher's Stone'.
Hungarian Horntail
A Hungarian
Horntail was one of the four Triwizard Tournament dragons,
first appearing in 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire'. This is the dragon that
Harry had to face. They are black and described as being more lizard-like and larger
than the other three Triwizard dragon species. They have yellow eyes with slit pupils (like a
cat). Along their tails are bronze-coloured spikes every few inches.
Horntail eggs are grey, described as looking like either granite or cement.
Norbert
Norbert is a Norwegian Ridgeback dragon. He
is hatched by Hagrid in 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'.
Norwegian Ridgeback
This is a rare species of dragon. They are black with orange eyes and lay black eggs.
It seems that their bites are mildly poisonous, causing swelling and green discolouration.
They were first mentioned in 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'.
Swedish Short-Snout
A Swedish Short-Snout was the dragon faced by Cedric Diggory in the Triwizard
Tournament. They have blue-grey scales and long pointed horns.
