| UK (Welsh) Pound Coin |
 |
This version of the Welsh UK Pound Coin first appeared in 1995. This
replaced the old Welsh version of the coin, which depicted a leek with a
crown around it. The dragon on the coin is the Cadwaller dragon, the emblem
of Wales. This dragon is also found on the Welsh flag.
