Description:
Capacti is a Nahua dragon, also known as Cipactli or Cipactli-Caiman. The Nahua people lived in Central America and have migrated as far as Mexico. Several Central American cultures have Nahua ancestors, such as the Aztecs. He appears in the 'Codex Borgia', where he is shown as a crocodile-like animal lacking a lower jaw. This is probably a Mixtec or Toltec Codex. Capacti was involved in the creation of the world and can appear as a male or female.

Cipacuali Fish
Capacti began as the fish Cipacuali, a crocodile-like fish living in the waters. At this time the gods had created the sky, the waters and the world below. They used the body of Cipacuali to make the Earth.

Capacti the Earth Monster
Capacti used to live in the sky, until she was dragged down by Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca. They attacked her and tore her apart. She was made into the Earth. Her hair became the plants and her eyes the wells and springs. In return for providing humans with the fruits of the Earth, she needed to be given the blood of humans.
