Description:
Feathered serpents appear in the art and architecture of several South and Central American civilizations. They are often associated with the god Quetzalcoatl. Some of the most famous feathered serpent representations are at Teotihuacan. Teotihuacan was a large city. There are debates about which culture was responsible for building it. It had a number of temples, include the Temple of the Feathered Serpent.
