Teeth

Jaguarundis have 30 teeth. The arrangement of the teeth is as follows:

M = Molar
P = Premolar
C = Canine
I = Incisor

There is a space between the canines and first premolar called a diastema. The molars in the upper jaw are very small. This arrangement of teeth also appears in many other species of cat.
