Privacy Policy

The Dragon Stone allows users to offer some of their personal data for public display. Examples are the guestbook and the Dragon Artist List. This information is not distributed, but users should be aware that public information can be seen by anyone. Users should be cautious about what information they disclose. The Dragon Stone assumes no responsibilty for protecting information that users decide to disclose publically. Users may request that their information is removed at any time.

Services requiring login (such as the forums) will store the personal details entered by the user. Copies of posts and messages submitted by the user will also be stored. These will not be disclosed to any third party, though may be publically viewable in the case of public profiles and posts. Services with a login may allow you to store a login cookie. This may contain details such as username - these cookies are optional and it is not recommended to use them on a shared system.

If you send an email to the webmaster, email addresses are only used to respond to your queries. You will not be sent unsolicited messages and your email address will not be stored after your query has been dealt with.

Any additional cookies that appear on the site will not store personal data such as user names or passwords. No other personal data is stored.

The Dragon Stone stores some non-personal information, such as IP addresses and pages visited. This is only used for purposes of site management, such as identifying attempts to compromise the site and rating page popularity. This information will not be distributed and is deleted after a few days. It is not used to gather data on specific users.
